New Table Consulting, LLC was founded by Dr. Bob Berk to help children get the care, attention and services they deserve in the public school system. Over the past many years much attention has been paid to improving outcomes for all children - including those with special needs. Countless efforts have been made by teachers, administrators, policymakers, elected officials and watchdog groups to improve the quality of services offered in our public schools for those with special needs. These efforts have led to improvements for many students in many schools. Less effort, however, has been made to help parents advocate for their own children. This is our goal - to improve the public school experience for students with special needs one child at a time by helping their parents gain the skills they need to effectively advocate.
While our advocacy work is based in San Diego, we have experience working around the country. In addition to our frequently work in New Orleans and the surrounding parishes, we consult in Arizona, Nashville, and other locations around the country. |
